''Where I Wanna Be'' is the second studio album by R&B singer Donell Jones, released by LaFace Records on October 12, 1999 in North America. ''Where I Wanna Be'' is his most successful album to date, having gone platinum. The album is the follow-up to his critically acclaimed debut album, ''My Heart'' (1996). The album featured three hit singles, the worldwide hit "U Know What's Up", Donell's biggest hit single to date, peaking inside the top 10 in the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and a massive #2 hit in the UK.
